Surrounding our lodge are several fishing villages where you'll have the opportunity to witness the lives of the local Perúvians. Touring these communities offers an exciting cultural experience as well as an opportunity for you to purchase local handcrafts such as bracelets, necklaces, woven bags and other handmade goods.

Visiting these communities will also provide you with a sense of what Amazon Expeditions is doing in partnership with the local community in terms of supporting the economic, educational, and civil infrastructure needs of the community.
