| Is Amazon Expeditions "Kid Friendly"? |
Absolutely! We have kids too and wouldn't dream of offering a service that was not fun and engaging for kids as well. Kids who are at least school age are best suited to the types of adventures that the rainforest has. Ask us about our "Kidz-Safari" program when calling to confirm availability. Back To Top |

| What would happen in the event of an emergency? |
Although our lodge is located on a remote tributary, we are prepared for a variety of emergency scenarios. Members of our staff are trained and prepared to handle basic first aid related issues. We have a HAM radio communications system at our lodge, which enables us to call medical support in Iquitos if needed. Additionally, a high-powered speedboat is always at the lodge when guests are visiting. Back To Top |

| Is there electicity at the lodge? |
No, in the spirit of authenticity, we do not have electricity at the lodge. We do operate an electric generator for part of the day to charge batteries and provide refrigeration for various food products. Water is warmed by the sun in tanks before it reaches your bathroom. At night, the lodge and walkways are lit with oil lamps and provide a soft, warm glow. Back To Top |

| Do you do group or individual excursions? |
We provide individual tours and excursions for our guests. We don't mix different groups of visitors together for group tours and excursions. Each visiting party will have its own guide or guides, depending on the size of the group. Occasionally, if one or more smaller groups are interested in the same activity at the same time, they can be grouped together, but that would be up to the guests. Back To Top |
