Booking Policy
It is advisable to consider carefully your travel dates, international and local air travel arrangements and timing those details with the booking of your trip to our lodge. Amazon Expeditions can help you plan and can recommend the right flights, your accommodations in the jungle city of Iquitos as well any trip extensions to the Andes Mountains and Machu Picchu if you like. The following is our Booking Policy with regard to your reservation at Palo Verde Lodge.

1. At the time of your booking Amazon Expeditions will require a 10% non refundable deposit for your trip to hold a reservation date for you.
   
   
2. The remaining balance of your total package price will be due 30 days prior to your arrival date.
   
   
3. If you are booking a trip with Amazon Expeditions fewer than 30 days in advance, the total tour package price will be due at the time of your booking. Your reservation cannot be held or confirmed until your total tour package payment has been received.
   

Cancellation Policy
In the event that you have to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances, we offer the following trip cancellation policy. It may be advisable to purchase travel insurance to provide coverage for unexpected travel circumstances.

1. Notice of trip cancellations received more than 30 days prior to departure are subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the total tour package price (forfeiture of your deposit). The remaining 90% or any other payments made beyond the initial 10% deposit will be refunded to you within 30 days of your cancellation notice.
   
   
2. Notice of trip cancellations received within 30 days of your scheduled arrival are subject to the forfeiture of a 50% of the total tour package price. The remaining 50% deposit will be refunded to you within 30 days of cancellation.
